Years ago in Positano people stored water in Roman style arched cisterns built in their gardens. The houses built nearby were named for what was near and thus was born first La Cisterna and later the Piccola Cisterna built above it.

The Piccola Cisterna's large master bedroom with ensuite bath with tub  and separate shower and a second bath with shower and washing machine makes for luxurious living. The living room has a sofa bed that can sleep two. Adjoining the living room is the fully fitted kitchen. FREE WiFI internet access and SKY Sat TV. All rooms have balconies overlooking the sea. La Cisterna has access to the pool which is private to the Sponda complex only. The Piccola Cisterna faces South overlooking Positano Bay and the Galli Islands with a terrace bathed in sun all day long. It is furnished with a table and chairs for al fresco dining and deck chairs for entertaining or just relaxing. Piccola Cisterna shares with La Cisterna and Torre Sponda a private staircase to a small beach below the Sponda property and pool access. It too has a washing machine.
